Contractor Kills Himself

Pratt City, Ala., Feb. 25 – Frank Hagan, a well known contractor, committed 
suicide by shooting himself in the head with a 38 caliber revolver at his home 
here.  What caused the rash act has not yet been learned.  Death was 
instantaneous, the bullet penetrating Hagan’s brain.  Hagan was a well to do 
contractor.  He had just finished eating dinner and rising from the table he 
called to his wife and children who were leaving the room to “Look here.”  As 
they did so, they saw him place a pistol to his head and blow out his brains.  
No cause for the suicide is known.
