Pool (Isaac Mitchell Pool III) Dear Brother After so long a time I will try to answer your letter which I received three weeks ago. Today I have nothing to write worth any thing. More than we are all well and getting along tolorable well. We are not done gathering corn yet. We are most done picking cotton but have not sowed any wheat or oats yet. Well I recon I had better tell you about George Rowan and Aavis/Alvis White being marryed (married) and Felix and Holy but I don't guess you have heard about Mag Bass and Dan East being marryed (married). They marryed (married) last Tues Day evening. Richard Mc and Francis Moor and Dellor Owen was the waiters. Well, that will do about that. We have had our molases made up. Made thirty seven gallons and put up about twenty five hundred stalks for seed. Well had better close for this time. Write. J.S. Pool (James S.
