Tombstone of James Benjamin Scoggins, son of Seaborn J. Scoggins.  Born August 
24, 1833, Heard County, Georgia; died December 19, 1899.   Burial is in Forest 
Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama.

Additional Comments:
Buried in the same general vicinity are his son, John Augustus Scoggins, Sr. 
(1868-1963), John's wife, Mary Gilmore Scoggins (1878-1956), and three of 
their daughters, Lila May Scoggins (1897-1936), Margaret L. Scoggins (1916-
1945) and Ruth Mattie Scoggins Forrester (1909-1962)
