LeSourd Married: 25 Dec 1900 Divorced: 7 May 1913 Father: George M. Morrow 1910 census for Jefferson Co AL shows Geo. Morrow, wife Susie, and son Frank living in Glenn Iris Park, which was then an upper class neighborhood, with very fine homes. George was shown as a Druggist in the previous census, but in this one is listed as having his 'own income.' They had four servants, a maid, a cook, a butler, and a 'coachman.' Also living with them were dau Lucy LeSourd (33) and her husband, 'unnamed' LeSourd, (38 b.Ohio), married 10 years, but with no children. Interesting notes from the divorce depositions: Lucy said she had known Harvey two years prior to their marriage. "He was an actor at and prior to our marriage. I was also on the stage. We were in the same company for several months before our marriage. I quit the stage immediately after our marriage, but he continued to follow that profession for about one year and a half. He went in business as a Stock Broker on the Consolidated Exchange in New York City and continued in that business until December 1909. In the summer of 1910 he went into business in Birmingham as a Manufacturer's Agent for pumps and machinery, and continued in the business until April 1912." She further said that though "I was not on the stage, after we were married, I travelled with him most of the time, and after we located in New York, we boarded a part of the time, but kept house most of the time." Also testifying was Lucy's brother-in-law D.(Dan) A. Greene, who was married to Lucy's sister Jordan (36 in 1910). Harvey LeSourd had moved to Chattanooga TN to live with his sister. The 1910 Tennessee Census shows an Anna B. LeSourd, 58, b.Ohio living in Chattanooga. She is in the household of her daughter Una (40, b.OH) and Charles Sherwyn, married 18 years, also with no children. It is possible this was Harvey's mother and sister.
