The Native Americans started this cemetery and are buried at the edge of it. There are only three stones left in the cemetery, but a number of families had markers that were destroyed by the timber company. Those families are: Lockhart, Pugh, White, Gann, Aldridge, Isbell, Crew, Kimbell, and Gibbs. Those markers left are: Artissima Pugh, died Feb. 5, l891 and Isaiah Pugh, died Sep. 7, l891 (these are on the same marker) B.M. Pugh, born Jun 8, l880-Aug. 6, l880 William B. White born Apr. 3, l8l9-Apr. 3, 1856.
