This indenture made and entered into the sixth day of November in the year of 
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Sixty Seven between Benjamin R. Hopkins 
and Nancy M. Hopkins his wife party of the first part & Jacob H. Cline party of 
the Second part: Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in 
consideration of the sum of Four hundred and fifty ($450) Dollars to them in 
hand paid at and before the sealing & delivery of these presents by the party of 
the Second part receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, had grant, bargained 
Sold & Conveyed and doth by these resents grant bargain Sell and convey unto the 
said party of the second part & to his heirs & assigns forever the following 
described lands (to wit): The E1/2 of NW1/4 - NW1/4 of NW1/4 & 20 acres off of 
NE Corner of SW1/4 of NE1/4 of Sect. No 36, & SE1/4 SW1/4 & 20 acres off of SE 
Corner of SW1/4 of SW1/4 Sect No 25 all in Township No 15 of Range No 15 West*  
containing two hundred acres more or less lying & being in the county of Jones & 
State of Alabama together with with all and singular the tenements & 
appurtenances thereunto belonging as in anywise appertaining and also all the 
estates, right, title, interest claims or demand whatever of Benjamin R. Hopkins 
& Nancy M. Hopkins the Said party of the first either in Law or Equity of in and 
to the above bargained premises & every part and parcel thereof to have and to 
hold to the party of the Second part his heirs & assigns forever.  And the said 
party of the first part, for themselves their heirs Executors, administrators 
and assigns doth hereby warrant and will forever defend the title of the above 
bargained premises to Jacob H. Cline his heirs and assigns, free from the claims 
of all and every person or persons whomsoever as also the claim of the general 
government.  In testimony whereof, the party of the first part hath hereunto set 
their hands and affixed their seals, the day and year first above Written.

I, B.L. Falkner Judge of Probate for said County hereby certify that Benjamin R. 
Hopkins & Nancy M. Hopkins his wife whose names are assigned to foregoing 
conveyance and who are known to me acknowledged before me on this day that being 
informed of the contents of the conveyance they executed the Same Voluntarily on 
the day the same being date. - given under my hand this 6th day of Nov. 1867.
