A sad occurrence was witnessed four miles west of this place on last Monday, 
Mrs. NED LAWRENCE while in a field where brush and leaves were being burned, 
her clothing became ignited and she was soon so badly burned that she died on 
Tuesday.

In a local of last week's paper we stated that it was Mrs. Ned Lawrence who 
was so sevrely burned and died, we have since learned our mistake.  It was 
Mrs. Martin Lawrence.
