THE STATE OF ALABAMA
LAMAR COUNTY PROBATE COURT
To any of the State Judges, or to any licensed Minister of the Gospel, or to 
any Justice of the Peace of the said County.   Know ye, that you are hereby 
authorized and licensed to join together in the Bonds of Matrimony, W. O. 
MINOR and MARY M. WEBB Given under my hand in office this the 31st day of 
December AD 1878.
     ALEXANDER COBB, Judge of Probate

The State of Alabama, Lamar County
I hereby certify that on the 2nd day of January AD 1879 I solemized the Rites 
of Matrimony between W. O. MINOR and MARY M. WEBB at WILLIAM WEBB in said 
County.  
Witness this 2nd day of January, AD 1879.     Rev. JEREMIAH ELLIS, MG.  
Fifty Dollars fine for failing to return this license.

THE STATE OF ALABAMA   LAMAR COUNTY
Know all men by these preesents, that we, W. O. MINOR and J. R. JONES are held 
and firmly bound unto the State of Alabama in teh penal sum of Two Hundred 
Dollars for the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind 
ourselves, and each amd every of our heirs, executors, and administrators, 
jointly and severally, firmly by those presents.  Sealed with our seals, and 
dated the 31st day of December AD One Thousand Eight Hundred and 78.
     The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above 
bound W. O. MINOR has obtained license to intermarry and be joined in the 
Bonds of Matrimony with MARY M. WEBB.  Now, if there be no lawful cause why 
such marriage should not be celebrated, then this obligation to be void, 
otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
