Erected by Surving children Thomas Harrison Jones & Daniela Ellen Wheeler Desceased Children of Richard & Lucy Jones are Peter Early Anne Early Edwin Peyton Richard Theodore Lucy Early Richard Jones graduated at the University of Georgia at Athens and served with cerdit as an officer in the war of 1812. His father was a distinguished solider of the Revolution, lost a leg at Cuildford Court House. He Lived and died enjoying the unqualified love and esteem of his children grandchildren and all who knew him.
