Deed of Gift. John Harvey to Ann Harvey

This indenture made and entered into the 21st day of June in the year of our
Lord 1839.  Be it known that for the love and affection I have for my beloved
wife, Ann Harvey and for the consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in
hand paid,the receipt thereof hereby acknowledged, I do give,grant and confirm
unto my said wife. One spinning machine, one black horse, one bay mare, two cows
of her choice One road waggon. One young yoke of oxen all my stock more or less.
 One half of any stock of hogs. One half of my kitchen furniture. one half of my
farming tools now I wish this deed of conveyance distinctly understood that so
long as my said wife Ann & myself lives that all the above named articles is  to
remain with  us for the benefit of the family as they have hither to done, but
(blotted words) my said wife is to have full possession of all the above
(blotted words) and should she my said wife Ann die first at her (blotted words)
 agree to give up to her heirs all the above no (blotted words) date above written.

State of Alabama Lawrence County. I Amos Jarman an Justice of the peace in and
for the county aforesaid do hereby certify the above deed of gift was assigned
and acknowledged before (blot) thereof and said by the doner to be given for
(blot) therein expressed this 21st June 1839.  Amos Jarman JP Justice of Peace
