Berryman - Lawrence Co., AL State of Alabama, Lawrence County Know all men by these presents that I Kizia Berryman do grant and give to John A. Berryman, the son of A. Berryman the East 1/2 of the South west 1/4 of Section No. 35 of Township No. 5 of Range No. 9 West containing 80 acres to have and to hold from my heirs or assigns forever. The condition of this gift is such that I Kizia Berryman is to live on the above named land free of rent or molestation so long as I live. Then I give the poser to son Anderson Berryman to sell the above named land if he thinks best, and apply the proceeds tot he use of said John A. Berryman. Martion an acting Justice of the Peace in and for the said county Kizia Berryman whose signature her assignment to the within deedof gift and acknowledged that she signed sealed and delivered said deed to J.
