Berryman, the following tract or parcel of land to wit: Situate lying and being in the County of Lawrence and the State of Alabama designated and known as the West 1/2 of the South East 1/4 of Section No. 35 of Township No. 5 or Range No. 9 West containing eighty acres equally to be divided among the above named heirs Richard Ann, P. B., John A., Jane Elizabeth, Sophia Celeste, Nancy Caroline Berryman. The above gift is such that I give son Anderson the power to sell the above named land if he thinks it advisable for the better support of the above named children, if not it be divided when the youngest child comes of age. In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 6th June 1848. Kezia Berryman (seal) Teste: Jos. T. Martin an acting Justice of the Peace in and for said County Kezia Berryman whose signature is assigned to the within deed of conveyance and acknowledge that she signed sealed and delivered said deed to the heirs of A. Berryman for the purpose therein expressed this 6th day of June 1848. J. E. Martin, J. P. (seal) The State of Alabama, Lawrence County I Wiley Galloway Clerk of the Court of said County certify that the original deed of which the foregoing exhibit is a true copy was deposited in my office for registration on the 4th day of July instant and was on this day and date hereof duly recorded in Deed Record Volume M pages 164 & 165. In testimony whereof I hereunto set my name as Clerk, endorse a certificate of like tenor to and same date of this and affix the seal of said County thereto on the original deed at office the 12th day of July 1848.
