State of Alabama,Walker Co.Your petitioner
Miriah I.Flannigan respectfully represents to the Honorable Board that she is a
citizen of Walker County in the State  of Al.and was such on the 1st.day of Jan.
1899.That she is he widow of William W.Flannigan who seved as a Private in Company
B,16th.Ala.Calvary Volunteers.That her husband was killed or died on the 6th.day of
January 1870.That he did not desert the service of The State Of Al.nor of the
Confederate States.That she has not since married and that she has no children upon
whom she can depend on for support. That all her property does not exceed four
hundred dollors in value and that her annual income from all sources does not exceed
four hundred dollars.She therefore respectfully asls your honorable board to place
her name upon the pension rolls of the State as a member in the fourth class that
she may participate in the diision of the fund provided for the relief of needy
Confederate soldiers and saliors nd their widows by an act of the general assembly
of AL.approved Feb.10,1899.

I believe Wiliam enlisted in Lawrence Co.Al.
