Huntsville Advocate dated 11-28-1860.
It reads ," Nov.18,1860 Capt.Thomas Green in the 59t year of his
age.Capt.Green at the time of his death was contractor for carrying
the U.S.Mail between Tuscaloosa and Courtland Ala.and will be greatly
missed by the country as well as by his family and friends'.
