Arlin Hugh Welborn 
(May 25, 1942 - May 15, 2012) 

Arlin Hugh Welborn, 69, Moulton, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 
Glenwood Nursing Home. 
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Spry 
Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 
Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Barry Cater. 
Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Methodist Church Cemetery, Mt. Hope. 
He is survived by his sister, Willadean Counts (husband, Allen) nieces & 
nephews, Mark Welborn, Thomas Counts, Gary Welborn, Mary Kimbrough, Darren 
Welborn, Harriet Inman; and special friends, Donna & Jeremy Sparks. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Woods Welborn; daughter, Susan 
Welborn; son, Richard Hugh Welborn; parents, Clifton Walter & Goldie Ethel 
Welborn; brother, James Clifton Welborn. The pallbearers will be Mark Welborn, 
Gary Welborn, Darren Welborn, Thomas Counts, Larry Kimbrough, and Anthony 
Inman. 
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
