Lee-Chambers-Russell County AlArchives Church Records.....County Line Baptist Church Copyright Date November 22, 2009 ************************************************ Copyright. On some old maps there is a County Line Baptist Church (see reference below). This was in the mid 1800s when the Chambers and Russell County line ran close to the intersection of CR 158 and CR 252. This church was located in then Chambers County, later Lee County Alabama. This cemetery is located next to a grouping of cemeteries called Mountain Springs Cemeteries, but really is was a separate cemetery. Unfortunately the cemetery was recently vandalized and all of it history would have disappeared except for the work of people recording the grave sites in Taproots. Located in Range 28E Township 19N Section 10, reference Taproots 6/3 Jan 1969 page 118. Contact me before using this information in any published manner.
