THE STATE OF ALABAMA
LEE COUNTY

              THIS INDENTURE, Made on the twenty-seventh of October, eighteen 
hundred and seventy, between Green Fuller of the county aforesaid of the first 
part, and Willis McClendon, of the second part, of the State of Georgia, 
Meriwether County; 
              WITNESSETH, That the...Green Fuller has, for and in the 
consideration of the sume of One Hundred and Twenty Dollars, bargained and 
sold to said Willis McClendon, forty acres of land more or less being the 

              NE quarter of NE quarter of Section Eleven (11), Township 
Seventeen (17) of Range Twenty-seven (27)

              And do by these presents forever warrant and defend the right 
and title the above bargained and sold forty acres of land to Willis McClendon 
aforesaid, his heirs and assigns, executors or administrators, to his own 
proper use and do further bind myself, my heirs and assigns and executors or 
administrators to defend the above bargained and sold premises of forty acres 
of land to Willis McClendon, his heirs and assigns, to his own proper use and 
benefit.

Additional Comments:
Willis McClendon was the grandson of Green Fuller.  Green's daughter was 
Judith Burford Fuller.
