LONG of Russell County, Alabama sold to R.W. JOHNSON and his wife E.T. JOHNSON one (1) undivided third interest to each of two (2) certain lots in the town of Opelika, County of Lee, and stae of Alabama, being the entire third interest of M.S. LONG, to wit: in said two lots being known in the plan of said town as lots number two (2) and three (3), Block number twelve (12), number two (2) being two hundred (200) square and number three (3) a fractoin and being a portion of section number seven (7) in Township Nineteen (19) Range twenty-seven (27). Signed December 11, 1882: witness R.J. WALTON and EXTON TUCKER. Witnessed by F.B. LONG, a Notary Public in Lee County, signed the 13th of December 1882. Recorded December 20, 1882. For a valuable consideration paid to M.S. LONG by the WALTONS. Additional Comments: This was written in Russell County, AL and recorded in Lee County, AL. M.S. Long is Mary Ann Sara LONG wife of Oliver B. WALTON; R.W. JOHNSON is Robert Walker Johnson and his wife E.T. JOHNSON who was the former ELIZABETH TABITHA SMITH. I believe but am not positive that the R.J. WALTON was Robert Johnson WALTON husband of Margaret INGRAM.
