November 10, 1869  Recorded December 27, 1869.  Thos. M. WALTON & MARY E. 
WALTON, his wife, sold to J.T. BROOKS and T.M.SUTTON for $2,500.00 all that 
tract or parcel of land in Opelika known in the plan of said town as Lots 
eleven (11) and twelve (12) in Block six (6) said lots had formerly each a 
front of one-hundred feet more or less in the North East side of Tallapoosa 
Street and extending back at right angles to the front two hundred feet more 
or less, together containing a trifle less than one acre (excepting a small 
portion of twenty-five (25) by sixty (60) feet as stated in the deed made by 
E.H. & J.N. WILLIS dated March 16th, 1863 to THOMAS SHANNON.

Additional Comments:
Thomas Marion WALTON & wife Mary Elizabeth JOHNSON Walton sold to J.T. BROOKS 
and T.M. SUTTON, etc. Note that a portion of that plot was excluded as it had 
been sold to THOMAS SHANNON.
