C.H. DAVIS owes promisary note in the amount of $144.00 to WILLIAM H. YOUNG.  
Secures the note with a mortgage on:  Two bales of cotton (weighing 960 lbs.) 
securely baled with good bagging and iron ties, to be delivered in wood house 
of Bulland and Himes in the City of Opelika to have & to hold the same 
mortgaged property. 

Additional Comments:
Note with the photocopy says 'this is continued on pg. 113 which we do not 
have on file'.
