Application Of Widows Whose Deceased Husband's Name Is On Pension Roll
N.A. Garrett a citizen of Lee County, in the State of Alabama that she is the 
widow of M.T. Garrett whose name is on the roll of pensioners from Lee County; 
that her husband died on the 24 day of Nov, 1903 and that she has not remarried.

Additional Comments:
Nancy A. Garrett was Nancy Ann Mahala McHargue. She and Matthew T. Garrett were 
married in Upson County,Georgia 1 Mar 1855.  Some time after their marriage they 
moved to Chambers County, Alabama. Matthew Garrett is buried at Farmville 
Cemetery in Lee County, Alabama
