Confederate Pension
M.T. Garrett made application for a pension as a confederate veteran having 
enlisted as a private in Company G of the 37th Regiment of Alabama Volunteers. 
in Chambers County, Alabama on January 15th 1896. His post office address was 
Oakbowery, Alabama. He was engaged in farming and had no property. Signed 
before  the Judge of Probate with is mark.

Additional Comments:
He submitted three more applications after this one after he moved from 
Oakbowery in Chambers County to near Auburn, Lee County, Alabama
