Confederate Pension
M.T.Garrett made application in Lee County, Alabama before the Judge of 
Probate for pension for his service as a soldier in Company G of 37 Regiment 
of Alabama Volunteers and he states that in June of 1863 at Corinth in the 
state of Miss he was wounded in the jaw.
His post office address is Auburn and that he is in no business and has no 
property. Signed with his mark before the Judge of Probate

Additional Comments:
His regiment was at Iuka, Corinth, and was at Vicksburg. He was a POW with the 
surrender of Vicksburg.
