Lee County, Alabama. He was living in Phenix City. He was wounded in both hands from minnie balls on 15th of November 1864 at Franklin, Tennessee while serving in Company E of the 39th Alabama Volunteers. He also filed an application in 1891 where the date for his wound was 30th of November.
