MOTLEY takes the DRYER place as a hotel. Mr. W.W. THOMPSON has taken and is improving the JOHNSON place. Mr. TODD has gone to Birmingham and Mr. BURNETT takes the house he vacates. Mr. W.P. MAGRUDER is snugly fixed at the FELT'S place, which he now owns. Mrs. HENDERSON has bought the FORT place, where she has moved the telegraph office, and Mr. SHELTON occupies their old quarters. Rev. W.P. HURT, the new pastor, with his family, is comfortably domletted at the Methodist parsonage. Mrs. BUCHANAN, with Mr. HUGH ROBINSON, have found a home at the ALLEY place, and Mr. C.W. ABERCROMBIE goes where they were last year. Mr. J.A. GRIMMETT, after several years in residence in town, takes his interresting family back to his plantation at Warrior Stand.
