The Atlanta Constitution March 15, 1889
Master Willie White Wilson, the five-year old son of Mr. T. C. Wilson, of
Luthersville, Ga., enjoys the unique distinction of having six grandmothers and
three grandfathers still living.  On the day he was born, six grandmothers and
four grandfathers greeted him on his entrance into the world.  One of the
grandfathers present on that day, Mr. Oswell Albright, of Lee county, Alabama,
has since died.  Following is the record of the six grandmothers:  Mrs. Wilson's
parents are living.  Her mother's mother is living.  This gives Willie two
grandmothers on the maternal side.  Mrs. Wilson's father's mother is living,
which gives Willie a third grandmother on the maternal side.  Mr. Wilson's
parents are living.  His mother's mother is living.  This gives little Willie
two grandmothers on the paternal side.  Mr. Wilson's father's mother is living,
which gives Willie three grandmothers on the paternal side.  His three living
grandfathers are Mr. Frank Humphries, of Meriwether county; Messrs. A. W. N.
Wilson and W. H. Alright [Albright] of Luthersville, Ga.

Additional Comments:
William H. Albright was a son of Oswell Albright and his wife, Sarah A. Wheelis
Albright.  William's wife was Sarah Humphries, daughter of Charles F. and
Elizabeth (Sewell) Humphries.  W. H. & Sarah's daughter, Lula, married Thomas C.
Wilson.  They had two children: Willie, the subject of this article, and
daughter Gwendolin.  Gwendolin died February 16, 1910. (See Gwen's obituary at:
