Mr. Eugene Blalock Died Yesterday

Mr. Eugene Blalock, aged 55, died Sunday morning at ten o'clock at his home in 
Salem after a short illness from typhoid fever.  Mr. Blalock is a prosperous 
farmer and has many friends who will lament his loss.  He is survived by his 
wife and several children. The funeral took place from his residence this 
morning, interment being in Union Grove cemetery.
