FORMER OPELIKAN DIES FRIDAY IN ALEXANDER CITY

"Mrs. Ruby Gart McConnell, formerly of Opelika who resided in Dadeville died in 
the Russell hospital, Alex City Friday night. She was 71.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Hopewell Methodist church near here 
Sunday at 2pm with internment in the church cemetery.
Survivors include the husband, William A. McConnell, a former employee of the 
post office here and a stepson, Eugene Hart of Thomasville, Ga.
Langley Funeral home is in charge."
