CARRIE THOMAS DIES Funeral Service and Interment Held At Farmville Mrs. Carrie Thomas, 74, died at her home in Opelika yesterday of complications following a lingering illness, and funeral service is to be held at 3 o'clock at Farmville, interment in Farmville cemetery. Deceased was born in Lee County and lived in the county all her life. Her name before marriage to McAgee Thomas in 1870 was Miss Carrie Watson. She was a member of the Baptist church and is survived by the following sons and daughters; A M Thomas, East Tallassee; Mrs M L Belcher, Birmingham; W D Thomas, Waverly; Q T Thomas, Opelika; L D Thomas, Waverly RFD; E L Thomas, Opelika; G A Thomas and E H Thomas, Opelika; Mrs W P Ennis, Auburn, Mrs F L Cherry of Anniston. Additional Comments: Carrie Watson Thomas, daughter of Anderson Watson, was born Jan. 8, 1852 in Lee County, AL. She married Micajah Thomas (July 31, 1840 - Oct. 1, 1912) January 20, 1870 near Opelika, Lee Couynty, AL.
