The announcement of this happy marriage appeared in the Gazette sometime ago. Immediately after the marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Wellmaker left Opelika for Barnesville, arriving here Tuesday afternoon. Thursday evening a delightful reception was tendered the bride and groom by Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Wellmaker at their home on Thomaston St. quite a number of friends were present and the reception was quite an enjoyable one for all present. A most bountiful supper was served which was enjoyed to the greatest extent. All the guests extended warmest congratulation to Mr. and Mrs. Wellmaker on their marriage. Te fact that they are to make Barnesville their permanent home is a sconce of pleasure to all their friends. We get the above from the last issue of the Barnesville Gazette. Mr. Wellmaker has visited Jackson and is quite popular here.
