JACKSON filed for Letters of Administration on the Estate of ANDREW JACKSON, Probate Minutes 1857-1860, page 233 Records of the Administration of the Estate of ANDREW JACKSON PROBATE MINUTES, 1871-1875 Pages 468 - 469 Limestone County, Alabama SEPTEMBER TERM 1873 ANDREW JACKSON, Estate of} Decree i n Final S e t t l e m e n t } This being the day to which this cause has been regularly continued from the day set to hear and pass upon the account heretofore filed by GEO. W. JACKSON in the Admin. of said Estate for an annual settlement of his administration thereof. Now comes the said JACKSON and moves the court to proceed with such settlement & that said account be passed & allowed: And also comes CHAS. M. HAYES who was heretofore appointed Guardian ad litem for AMANDA JACKSON, the only minor interested in this proceeding, he the said HAYES then in writing accepting said appointment & now appearing together with RICHARD DALEY, the Gdn to contest said account & represent said minor: And it appearing to the Court from proper evidence that due notice of the time and nature of this settlement has been given by publication for three successive weeks in the “Limestone News”, a newspaper published in this county, the Court proceeds to audit & examine said accounts or vouchers whereby it appears that said Admin has recd and is chargeable (including the amt with which the Court now charges him) the sum of Four hundred & thirty-one 63/100 Dollars and that he has legally & justly paid out for and in behalf of said Estate the sum of Two Hundred & forty two 83/100 Dollars, leaving a balance in his hands of One Hundred & eighty eight 80/100 Dollars. It is therefore ordered & decreed that said Admin pay said balance so found in his hands of One Hundred eighty-eight 80/100 Dollars to RICHARD DALEY as Guardian for said AMANDA JACKSON for which executive may issue. It is ordered, adjudged & decreed that said accounts & vouchers so audited, examined, & stated, be & the same are hereby in all things passed & allowed as the final settlement of said GEO. W. JACKSON as Admin as aforesaid & that the same be filed & recorded. Sept. 8, 1873
