HANNAH (JACKSON) PALMORE married CLABORN PALMORE and is buried at Second Creek Cemetery, Lawrence County, TN, near her father, JAMES D. JACKSON, SR. JACKSON, Administrator of the Estate of JAMES JACKSON, deceased, and filed in this Court a petition setting forth that said deceased died seized and possessed of the following lands situated in said County and State, to-wit: the SW ¼ of Sec 5, T 1, R 6 West containing One hundred & sixty 27/100 acres; also N ½ of E ½ of NW ¼ of Sec 8, T 1, R 6 West; also E ½ of NE ¼ of Sec 7, T 1, R 6. Also W ½ of NW ¼ of Sec 8, T 1, R 6 -- Also W ½ of NE ¼ of Sec 7, T 1, R 6 West. Said petition further sets forth that said lands cannot be fairly and equitably divided among the heirs at law of said deceased without a sale thereof. Said petition further sets forth that the following named heirs at law of the said deceased reside beyond the State of Alabama, to wit: MARTHA GRISHAM, wife of _______ GRISHAM, over 21 years of age, resides in Mississippi; MARY JACKSON, over 21 years of age, resides in Tennessee; JOHN JACKSON, over 21 years of age, resides in Tennessee; WILLIAM JACKSON, under 21 years of age, resides in Tennessee; all the above named persons being the children of JAMES JACKSON, JR., deceased, and grandchildren of JAMES JACKSON, SR., deceased. HEZEKIAH JACKSON, over 21 years of age, resides in the State of Mississippi; HANNAH PALMAR, wife of CLAY PLAMAR, is over 21 years of age, resides in the State of Tennessee; JAMES M. JACKSON is over 21 years of age, resides in Mississippi; JOSIAH and WILLIAM JACKSON, over 21 years of age, reside in Mississippi; ROBERT JACKSON, over 21 years of age, resides in Mississippi; RUFUS, ALEXANDER, and SAMUEL JACKSON, all infants under the age of 21 years, reside in Mississippi. It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for three consecutive weeks by publishing a copy of this order in the "Athens Herald", a public newspaper printed in said County, requiring said non-resident heirs to be and appear before a Court to be held for said County at the Courthouse thereof on the 2nd Monday in October next, and show cause if any they can why an order shall not then be granted for the sale of said land for the purpose of making a division of the same among the heirs of said deceased.
