The petitioner is Mrs. Lizzie Abernathy, who asks a divorce from Mark Abernathy. Three years ago Mrs. Abernathy left her husband at Elkmont, Limestone county, and came to Florence, where she soon afterwards married R. L. Lovelace. Later, of finding that he was husband number two, Mr. Lovelace instituted divorce proceedings in his wife's name against husband number one, but before the divorce was granted decided to quit the game and the proceedings were dropped. After the lapse of many months his affection for the erstwhile Mrs. Lovelace revived and the petition filed today is the result. Meanwhile Abernathy has married again in Elkmont and living happily with Mrs. Abernathy number two.
