The Decatur Daily - Aug 7, 1967
Mrs. Minnie Griffin - Services for Mrs. Minnie Pearl Griffin, 83, who died 
Saturday at Nashville, TN will be today at 2 p.m. at the Grant Street Church 
of Christ, Ralph Stout officiating.  Burial will be in the Athens City 
Cemetery, Guntharp Direction.

Surviving are two sons, Alvin Griffin of Elkmont and Woodrow Griffin of 
Nashville, TN; three daughters, Mrs. Royce Cavender of Nashville, TN, Mrs. 
Grady Hanks and Mrs. Billy Watterson, both of Decatur; 13 grandchildren; 12 
great-grand children.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.  The body will remain at the funeral home until 
services.  Mrs. Griffin was orginally from Limestone County.
