 Mrs Lillian Mae Downs Griggs died Sunday, 20 July 1947, at her daughters home.
Funeral services were held at North Athens Church of Christ. 
 She is survived by 7 daughters, 2 sons, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 47 
grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Legg Cemetery in Limestone County, Alabama.
