John Buford, son of R. N. & Helen Cartwright born 2/5/1891, died June 12/1897 
aged 6 yrs. 4 mos. & 7 days.  Engraving reads:
Yet in these ears till hearing dies, 
One set slow bell will seem to toll, 
The passing of the sweetest soul 
That ever looked with human eyes. 
This is in the Cartwright family plot.
