Peter Williamson was a Georgian, born in 1771, who figured as a friend of Gen. 
Clarke in Georgia, and came to what was then Montgomery, now Lowndes, about the 
year 1818.  He represented Montgomery in the general assembly of the State in 
1821, and was judge of the county court of Lowndes from 1830 to 1841, when the law 
obliged him to retire by reason of age.  He died several years after.
