Smith). Turn on Mason Road from Lowndes Co. #26. The cemetery is behind the former location of Oak Grove, Dr. P. H. Owen's home that burned in 1929. This land was originally owned by James Henry Smith, brother of Angelina, Benjamin J., Byrd, and Edwin P. James, born 1798 in Virginia, died on May 22, 1867. His first wife, Martha Ann Watkins Smith, is buried here but he may be buried in Montgomery County with his second wife, Eliza A. Stark whom he married in Montgomery on April 15, 1857. His daughter, Mary "Molly" Watkins Smith married Dr. Pascal Harrison Owen and they are buried in the Oakwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Montgomery Co., Alabama. SMITH, M. A., wife of James H.
