M. Pruitt dec'd on which estate Malinda Pruitt is Administratrix have divided and set apart four lots, and placed to the said McCormick Pruitt. Two slaves, Jasper & Chaney $6500 Wallace W. Pruitt. Two slaves, Henry & Laura $6000 Jeffalonah Pruitt. Two slaves, York & Dick $6000 Mary F. Pruitt. Two slaves Eli & Moriah $6300 Mrs. Malinda Pruitt having relinquished her distribution share. The Aggregate of valuation for four lots making $257000, and not being able to make an equal division of said slaves, make known to the court that the boy Frank valued at nine hundred dollars be sold for a division. The State of Alabama} Lowndes County} Before me A. M. Simmons,an acting Justice of the Peace in said county, Personally appeared John Dudley Jr., Geo. J. Tally, M. G. Hagood, John J. Daniel and G. P. Moore; Commissioners to divide the Slaves of L. M. Pruitt dec'd. Deposeth that the foregoing distribution and report was made by them under & by virtue of said Commission as directed on the 16th day of Dec 1864.
