Steele and Jane A. Steele his wife of the County of Butler State of Alabama, for and in consideration of the sum of ($62.50) Sixty Two 50/100 Dollars to us in hand paid by Florrence C. Baker of the County of Lowndes State of Alabama the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged we do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell, eufee off and deliver, unto the said Florrence C. Baker, Her heirs, executers, and assigns, a certain piece or lot of land, together with all appurtaineces and improvements there on, in the county of Lowndes State of Alabama, known and designated as follows, viz, South East quarter of South West quarter Township 12 Range 15 Containing (40) Forty acres more or less, and we also conferm unto the said Florrence C. Baker Her Heirs and assigns, all the Tenaments and Heriditaments, of the Said premises and the above named property unincumbered and being lawfully sidged and possesed of the same have a full right to sell and convey the same to the said Florrence C. Baker Her Heirs and assigns and we warrant and defend the titles of said Land to the said Florrence C. Baker Her Heirs & assigns forever; in testimony or witness whereof we herewith Set our hands and seals this the 21th day of March eighteen hundred and sixty eight (1868) Joseph A. Steele (LS) Jane A.
