Written: October 16 1869

Lowndes County        )	Know all men by these presents that We R. M. Burt & 
wife E. Burt of the county & State afore said For & in consideration of the sum 
of ($200.00) Two hundred dollars to us paid in hand by William Miller of the 
county & State above mentioned. The receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, 
do hereby Bargain Sell Enfeoff & confirm unto the said Wm Miller the following 
described tracts of land Viz Commencing at a stake at the south east corner of 
the church Lot thence east along the south boundary of SW ¼ of SW ¼ of Section 
28 Township 12 Range 15 to SE corner of said quarter thence North along the 
east boundary of said quarter 5 61/100 chain thence West paralel with South 
boundary of said quarter to east boundary of said Church lot thence south along 
said east boundary to starting point containing (8) Eight Acres more or less 
together with all & singular the lands tenements & heredements there to 
belonging to have and to hold the fore granted premises to the said William 
Miller his heirs & assigns ti their use & behoof  forever. And we do covenant 
with said Wm Miller his heirs & assigns that we will defend the said premises 
to the said Wm Miller his heirs & assigns forever against the lawfull claims of 
all persons.
In witness whereof we R. M. Burt & wife E. Burt afore said have here unto set 
our hands & seals this October 16th 1869.

Lowndes county)		I  T. Blake an acting justice of the peace in & for 
said county here by certify that R. M. Burt & wife E. Burt known to me appeared 
before me this day & being informed od the contents of the conveyence 
voluntarily executed the same in my presence on the day the same bears date 
witness my hand this the 16th day of October 1869.
