Burnett wife of said Jefferson Burnett Jr. of said County and State in Consideration of the sum of 0ne hundred and seventy five dollars ($175.00) to us in hand paid by W. N. Clements & R. M. Burt of the town of Fort Deposit Ala the receipt whichof is hereby acknowledged do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell and convey to the said W. N. Clements & R. M. Burt the following piece or parcel of land situated in the town of Fort Deposit Ala. And being that part of the North West ¼ of the South East ¼ of Section 29 T. 12 R. 15 and bounded as follows, on South by James Street and lot of A. F. Goldsmith on the East by lots of S. F. McTernin and Mrs. A. T. Grenley on the North by H. H. Buchanans on the West by Baptist Church lot & H. H. Buchanan. Containing in all Eight acres and a fraction more or less. To Have and to Hold the above W. N. Clements and R. M. Burt their heirs and assignes to their use and behoof forever. And We the said Jefferson Burnett Jr. and Ella C. Burnett his wife our heirs & administrators do covenet with the said W. N. Clements & R. M. Burt and with their heirs and assigns that we are lawfully Siesed in fee simple of th afore granted premesis, that they are free from all incumbrences, that we have a good and lawfull right to sell and convey to the said W. N. Clements & R. M. Burt their Heirs and assignes forever as aforesaid and that we will our heirs execters and adminestrators shall warrant and defend the same to the said W. N. Clements & R. M. Burt their heirs and assignes forever against the lawfull claims and demands of all persons. In witness whereof we the said Jefferson Burnett Jr. and Ella C.
