In Witness whereof I have here unto set my hand. Seal December 4th, 1824 Witnesses William Kornegay {Seal} Whitfield Grudy William Kornegay Jr Duplin County April Term 1827 Then was the within Bill of Sale proved in open Court by the oath of Whitfield Grudy & ordered to be registered. I, James Persall Clerk of the County Court of the County aforesaid do certify that Thomas Routledge who certifies to the foregoing copy from William Konegay Sr to Zilpha Chambers & heirs is the acting and legal register for Duplin County and that the proceedings is in ___ form of law and full faith and credit should be given there unto as such. {Seal} Given under my hand & seal of office ad Duplin this w8th February 1833. Jas Pearsall Clk State of North Carolina} Duplin County} I, John Watkins and acting Justice of the Peace and the Chairman of the County Court for the County Court aforesaid do certify that James Pearsall who certifies to the within copy of Sale is the acting and legal clerk of the County Court of Duplin County, and that the Impression attesting the same was made by the proper Seal of the Court for Duplin County and that full credit should be given to his official acts.
