Montgomery - 9/3/1834 - Lowndes Co., AL Alla bama State lowns county September the 3 Day 1834 Dear brother i have one time more taken up a pen to wright a fue lins to you to let you know that we ar all well at present thank the lord for his merces to us all hoping these few lines will find you all well i have nothan worth writing to you only that i do want to hare from you all way (?) a back fore i have not heard from any of you in two yeares and i can not acont for the reson that you hav all left of writing to me i want you to wright to me as soon as you can and us oftan as convenent and direct youre letters to dr gains post offic montgomery conty and i want you to give my best complements to mother if she is yet a live and to all my brothers and sisters that is a live and i want to know the nam of the office whare brother John Jasse (?) is living so i cud direct ltters to him it is hard times in aure sextion of cuntry mony is vary scace and proveshn slls high corn has sold this yeare at two dollars for bushel flour at eight teen dollars a barrel bacon at fifteen canne crops is vary good with us this yeare I wold write more to you if i knew you had not moved and wad git my lettere so i will close my letter by only in forming you that yet remanes youre wellwisheng brother William C Montgomry
