"DEATHS 
    Departed this life on the 18th inst., after a painful and lingering 
illness of fifteen months, Mrs. CATHERINE M. RUSH, consort of Mathew 
Rush, in the 49th year of her age. 
    The deceased was a devoted wife, affectionate mother, and true 
friend. Calmly she forced the closing scene of life, trusting in the 
atoning blood of Christ for her acceptance with God. " (1)
