Item first: It is my will and desire that all my just debts be paid out of money which I may have at the time of my death. Item second: It is my will and desire that all my household and kitchen furniture, beds and bedding, sewing machine clock be equally divided between my Sister Julia Whetston, and her daughter Sallie Moore. Item third: It is my will and desire that Georgia Reese have all her bedding, bedstead and trunk, also one of my sows name Spot” should she be living with me at the time of my death. Item fourth: It is my will and desire that the remainder of my estate consisting of two houses and lots located in the town of Lowndesboro, Lowndes Co., one horse and buggy one horse wagon, six head of hogs and five head of cattle together with what money I may have after paying my just debts, be equally divided, share and share alike, between Mamie and Lillie, daughters of my niece, Sallie Moore. I further will and devise that should either of them die without heir, then this interest should revert to the other surviving sister, and in the event of the death of both Mamie and Lillie without heirs, then I will and devise that said property be equally divided between their two brothers, James and Willie. Item fifth: It is my will and desire and I do hereby appoint and constitute J. W. Hammond, my sole executor without bond and Guardian of Mamie and Lillian in the division control and management of this property for the said minor children, Mamie & Lillie. In Lowndes Probate Court, April 15th, 1895 Now, on the 15th day of April, 1895 in the matter of the Probate of the last will and testament of Catherine Reese, deceased, before me, personally appeared Rufus Bradley who first being duly sworn and says on oath, that he is a subscribing witness to the instrument of writing now shown to him, purporting to be the last will and testament of Catherein [sic] Reese, deceased, that said Catherine Reese signed and executed said instrument of writing and declared the same to be her last will and testament on the day the same bears date, in the presence of affiant and W. D. McCurdy, who also signed the same with affiant as a witness thereto, and that affiant and said McCurdy set their signatures thereto on the day the same bears date as subscribing witnesses in the presence of said testator, that said testator was at said time, of sound mind and disposing memory and fully capable of making her will and testament, and that the testator was over the age of twenty-one years at said time.
