Smith Lowndes County, Alabama Book B, page 231 I, Angelina W. Smith, of Lowndes County and the state of Alabama, being of sane mind and disposing memory do make and __________ this my last will and testament hereby revoking al others whatsoever. 1st. I give and bequeath to my brother, Benjamin J. Smith, the following ten Negro slaves viz.: Lona, Edaline and three children, (Hamilton, Bob and Ellen), Ann and four children (Benson, Peyton, Ira and Josephine) along with their increase. I also give to my said brother Benjamin J. Smith my carriage and harness and all my household furniture. 2nd. I give my niece, Sarah Angelina Mason, the sum of one thousand dollars. 3rd. It is my request that my executor pay over to the American Bible Society, out of my estate, the sum of five hundred dollars. 4th. I also give to the missionary society of Alabama Conference of the Methodist-Episcopal Church S. the sum of five hundred dollars. 5th. It is further my request that the balance of my estate not herein before dispensed of be equally divided between James H. Smith, Hartwell V. Smith, Martha C. McGehee and Sarah Ann Manifee to them and their individual use forever. I hereby name and appoint B. J. Smith and H. V. Smith my Executors.
