First: It is my will and desire that all effects, both real and personal, be held and remain together during the widowhood of my beloved wife or until my children are of the age of twenty one when it is my express will and desire that each one shale receive an equal share of my estate, after giving to my beloved wife one third of my estate; but in case my said wife should marry before any of my children arrives at the age of twenty one, then it is my will and desire that my said wife should receive one third of my estate as aforesaid and the remainder to be equally divided amongst my children to wit: Elizabeth Beers, George W. Beers, Benjamin F. Beers and one child yet unborn, should it live; otherwise to be equally divided between those above named; And also I will and desire that all monies remaining after paying my just debts and funeral expenses be invested in property or (?) at interest as may seem most advisable to my Executor, whom I shall name. And also I will and desire that my wife and each of my children above named shall have an equal support out of my said Estate as long as the same shell be kept together, and I also desire that my children shall each receive such and education as my estate shall justify. And I do hereby make and appoint James Greenyard Executor of this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I, George Beers, the testator, have to this my will written on one sheet of paper, set my hand and seal this eighteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six.
