Bird Lowndes County, Alabama Will Book B, pages 202 - 203 Know all whom it may concern, that I, Henry G. Bird, of the county of Lowndes and state of Alabama, being of good mind and memory, and knowing the uncertainty of this mortality, do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following, viz.: 1st I desire to be decently buried after I am dead and that all my just debts be paid. 2nd I make my worthy wife, Louisa Bird, sole heir to this my last will and testament giving unto her all manner of property, both real and personal, of which I may died possessed. I also give and bequeath unto her all manner of interest in any property whatsoever in which I may died signed and possessed, to act, and do with or dispose of at her own option. 3rd I desire that no other action be had on this my last will and testament than the men recording of the same. 4th I make and appoint my worthy wife, Louisa Bird, whom I have made sole heir to this my last will and testament, Executrix to the same. Cook, Judge of the county court in and for said county, the above named Bartlett Hilliard and William Shepperd, two of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing will or testamentary papers, who being first duly sworn on the Holy Gospel of Almighty God, deposeth and saith that they say the above named Henry G. Bird, whose name is subscribed thereto, sign, seal, publish and declare the same to be his last will and testament, in his lifetime, that they, deponents, together with Green W. Kendle subscribed their names thereto as witnesses at the request of the said Henry G. Bird in his lifetime and his presence on the day and year therein mentioned, and in the presence of each other and that at the time of making said will and the signing the same, the said Henry G.
