McFarland, give unto him at my death my portion or share of the estate of John B. Coker, deceased, also all notes and money of mine now in my hands. her January 9th 1852 Mary X Coker Witnesses mark Edwin Baldwin K. J. Meriwether The State of Alabama Lowndes County Personally appeared before me, Edward H. Cook, the Judge of Probate for said county, in open court, the above named Edwin Baldwin, who being sworn on the Holy Evangelical of Almighty God, deposeth and saith that he saw the above named Mary Coker sign the foregoing deed of gift, or last will and testament, that he, the deponent, subscribed his name as a witness thereto in the presence of said Mary Coker, and that he also saw the other subscribing witness, k. J. Meriwether, sign the same in the presence of said Mary Coker, and all in the presence of each other on the day and year therein mentioned. And that at the time of signing the same, said Mary Coker was of sound and disposing mind and memory, and that it was her voluntary act. Sworn to in open court this 19th day of Feby 1852 E. H.
